On Wednesday, April 25, 2012 ClearSign Combustion Corporation, a Seattle-based company developing technologies to make combustion systems more efficient, became the first IPO ever to use JOBS Act exemptions and began trading on the NASDAQ Stock Market under the ticker symbol “CLIR”.
NASDAQ believes small companies are critical to economic growth in the United States. In order to grow and create jobs, small companies must have access to capital. The JOBS Act enables small businesses and startup companies to have more access to funds and an easier process in which to raise them, thus creating more jobs in America. We are proud to be the home of the first of many companies who will benefit from the JOBS Act.
